VE still sounds bad today... But surprisingly, I am getting more and more into this Sunset song, cos firstly, it is a challenge to sing and secondly, the arrangement that was originally thought as sucky came to the light... It's quite an interesting arrangement i guess, that needs lots of coordination from the 3 sections... So it's quite fun, but for one thing, pin yan was like ruining the whole discipline and all, and he is sooo damn hyper! gar... we must take him into hand soon!
So after VE, Brandon, Jianyi (seemed pissed off today) and I were like enjoying blowing bubbles and bursting balloons with confetti inside... haha, its stupid and shit... but guess what? we'll be doing all this at the party at brandon's hse tmr! yay!
Right after that, I went to the library (in my PE shirt... shhh...) and found Pin Yan doing his online english assignment and him voting for Britney Spears in the MTV awards thingy... Haha, its like both shi en and pin yan are mad over voting for this contest.. Except shi en is voting for stefanie sun in another category.. Luckily...
Then Pin yan and I went to SIM for lunch and I went home... On the way to the bus stop, we were talking about how bitchy Britney Spears is and Pin yan consistently defending her... Then I suddenly talked about Britney Spear's new album entitled 'Bitch' and her new single 'Bitch Bitch' and started laughing like mad.. Then pin yan suddenly open his bottle cap and emptied his water over me... But i was still laughing and chased him, laughing, opening my water bottle, chasing, laughing some more and in the end i gave up chasing him cos i was bloated and tired...
So I arrived home at about 2pm, then watch TV until 3pm and went for a big nap till 5.30pm... So now I am waiting to buy dinner and watch the late night shows of CSI and the Practice...

I'm slipping away, slipping away... from friends, best friends, closest friends.... Slipping away...~
Seriously, I think my mockery has gone too far this few weeks.. I really don't know what's going on in me, but the 'cute' and 'harmless' niaoing is over, it's like people are treating what i say real seriously and have a different impression on me - rude and arrogant... And sad to say, quite insensitive too...
It's like the whole issue of chinamen to Rujun surely have went too far, cos during sean's birthday at prince, there's no friendship feeling when I see rujun in the eye, it's more like animosity (did i spell that rite?)
instead... Same thing with Sean, Kun Won, Jianyi, Marcus and Shi En... It's like i am fading away as a good friend but replaced with some other guy that every love and hate... Aiyo, I must watch my mouth nowadays...
Ok, let's not get sooo serious... Back to my day.. Hmmm.. Took 74 to school for VE like always... A relatively long 45min journey is truly the bane of my holidays.... There are like 3 main sections of my journey and each of em takes about 12-15mins to past by it... 1st section is frm my hse to Ang Mo Kio MRT station, 2nd section is frm the ang mo kio centre to thomson road intersection and last section is from mediacorp to school... 45 mins leh... so damn sian... :'(
VE like always, sucked... Sunset was a mess, and sigh... i shan't talk about it anymore... It was just crappy seriously, and siewyp can't teach! gosh.... how much time does she need to realise that? okok, so after VE, yong lin and I went to see helaoshi for CAP portfolio, which was a mess as well, but well, i snooped over it eventually...
so right after that, brandon and jianyi took a taxi to KAP, while I took the bus with pin yan cos i guess it's my responsibility to ensure his safety and all... haha... so we met there and i had mcspicy double meal and after eating, we played pictionary cos brandon has this scrap book thingy and a red marker so we just played and played... den pinyan went off first and we cotinued playing... in the end, i won! haha, i beat jianyi in the movie, song and artiste section and claimed to be the winner of pictionary! mwahaha! *bow at me pls*
den we went to the video-ez rental shop, to see what vcds we can watch when we go to brandon's hse on wednesday... aiyo, that was when i realised how many movies i've missed or not yet watch... i need to get a life! :D so after hunting down all the vcds (lilo and stitch, nightmare on elm street 4, scary movie 3, confessions of a teenage drama queen..), and when brandon is about to pay the rental fees, the cashier suddenly asked for out member card and our IC... apparently, being 14 yr olds, u arent entitled to an IC yet... so we, for some reason, cannot rent those nice nice vcds... darn... it's like the 4hr singapore idol wait once over again... hmm... i shld really really celebrate my 16th birthday when the time comes...
later, we went to cold storage, where jianyi bade us goodbye cos he haf to attend to some orientation meeting thingy, so brandon and i shopped around and talk and talk... lol... we went to the party goodies section, and he suddenly had this idea that he's going to hold a party for my birthday on wednesday when jianyi and I go to his house... so he bought 100 balloons, blow n squeeze confettis, waterbombs, sprays and all that cost about $26 in the end, and finally he bought 6 xmas crackers for the party as well... i can imagine going to the big bungalow and having lots of fun, making mess of everything and celebrate my bday like any other people that celebrates their bday on that day as well.. :D gee, that's goin to be fun!
and while waiting for brandon's driver (wow... imagine having a chauffeur... i'll be happy if my father fetches me back frm school during the holidays) and talked about singapore idol and our plans abt it when we r older... haha, seems that i can only join the competition 3 yrs later, when i am 16 cos my bday is on decemeber and the auditions starts at june...lol... aiyo, i really hate my voice now... it's like not very high and not very low... so it's not good... boo~... But luckily, brandon kept praising about my singing and all.. he was like talking to me about singing in a nightclub for extra cash and i said, 'hmm... i don't mind being a backgrd singer..' then he suddenly blurted out, 'c'mon you are much better than being just a backgrd singer...' haha just as my ego was boost, the radio played breakaway... lol, it's quite nice, haha cos kelly clarkson rocks my world!!! her album will be out tmr! yahoo~... and also, after i sang 'lean on me' shamelessly, brandon said, "i'll let you break my leg if you don't go through the auditions for singapore idol...' haha... yay! everyone... the potential male chinese diva is in the making!!! :P
so now i am back at home, after the long bus ride (again), and after chatting with teng en and doing those usual stuff at neopets, i think i shall compose more music and go take a nap after that....

Yep, remember the girl that I met on 77th street? haha... she's now my 'big sista'... cos firstly, she's always the youngest in her hse and i am always the only child so we sort of like that arrangment quite a bit.... Haha, she said that all her juniors are often intimidated by her, but for me, I wasn't scared at all, haha, so it feels quite good to have a sister, or someone that's fun, different yet similar to talk to... :P What's most coincidental is that we have the same birthday!!! yahoo!... Cos seriously, I don't know who in the school has the same birthdate as me... (yep, 5th dec)... cos there are people frm 3rd to 7th dec but no 5th!!! Gar... but lol, it's always good to know that someone special is sharing the same birthday as you... Thanks mom(s)!
Talking about birthday, I just visited my grandma's hse for dinner... And my big aunt's family came over for dinner too.. And just when the relatives were talking and I was being in the com room anti-socialising, my big aunt suddenly popped in and gave me $50 for my bdae and xmas present! haha... i feel soooo rich... XD.. Haha, that's my big aunt, always that giving, esp. to me... 3 cheers to aunt flower!
Oh ya, and btw, CAP sucks like shit.. Cos i only have 3 articles currently and I have to type out 3 other articles by tomorrow so that I can submit and meet he laoshi at 11am on Monday!!! Sian!!! :'( feel like bursting out in tears soon.... sunday blues predicted tmr... even worse... productivity = 0%...
And also, something good to cheer me up! Brandon has invited me, jianyi, and most possibly shi en for the s'pore idol finals thingy! so excited abt it... it's like we will go for VE on wednesday, den go shopping (possibly for kun won's and marcus' 2nd gift... and maybe mine too.. :P).. and we'll go brandon's hse to prepare the taufik signboards and his chauffeur will send us there or sth... lol.. it's gonna be sooo fun! :D

P.S: Really sorry.. WW... your rose is really really beauuuutiful lor... very nice, it's like i was staring at it and waving it happily at my eupho SL during the interview and the playing of arioso cos it looks so nice.... wad a pity... sorry that i 'lost' it... haha...

Band concert today! Lots of thanks to everyone! Screwed it up but somehow I still feel really happy... :D
Band practice in the morning from 10 to 1 was quite alright cos it was such a breeze and with my warmed up lips, pitching the concert high F was quite simple... We ran through all our concert pieces swiftly as Jin Hao and Kun Won recited their lines... Jin Hao has the funny but nice China-tone and it really contrasted with Kun Won's english accent... Very nice...
We had lunch that was totally sucky and at the canteen and continued practice at 2pm... This time, my lips are already hurting, especially with my ulcer on my gum, I could hardly pitch concert high Eb... But I
PERSISted and still could blast those big notes... Practice was quite fun also, surprisingly, and time just past by like nothing...
So at 7.10pm, the concert started... I saw Wang Wan with her NY friends! Lol.. so excited... Then halfway through the first song, Glasgow Fair, Mong, Haoquan, Alfred and others popped in to watch our concert... Too bad Daniel couldn't join them he is at the Jay Chou's concert... :'(
Everything went quite well, Clarence was damn pro in his Latin Sun solo and after American Riversong, it was my turn to narrate Bremen Town.... The mike for some reason, made my voice sooo high that I have to sort of control my narrating pitch... In the end, everyone said that I have a low voice and so... Lol.... Seriously screwed up the song and the narration.... Cos I was waiting for the eupho and tuba cue to say, "Suddenly the cat screamed..." but there was no sound coming out from the 2 instruments behind me... So i continued with that clash chord that almost everyone is playing and i said, "Me-...." cos no one except the flutes were playing the meow clash chord!!! Garr... Screwed up lorz... Damn zibei... French hns screwed up, eupho oso and all... But luckily Terence and Ivan supposedly played their solos quite well!! :D
Then during the interval, Steve suddenly told me that Wang Wan wanted to see me.. So I went to the stage and she suddenly popped at me and gave me a rose!!! Wah~~!! First time receiving flowers frm girls during a concert... What an overwhelming and happy feeling! haha... then everyone is like soooo jealous... but aiyo, people like khaiboon and teng en have like more flowers lor cos teng en is like soooo shuai and khai boon is sooo popular until the whole audience was literally chanting "Boon boon.. Boon boon..." when he received the best section award for his section...
But something bad happened! After the concert, I moved the percussion instrument and when I returned for my instrument and the precious real rose that is sooooo beautiful... It was gone! Holy.... Then i though maybe terence took it to the band room but I was wrong... Hmmm... Then I went back to drama centre to find it and saw steve holding 3 roses, which one of them look really like my lost beloved rose.. Nevertheless, I didn't ask him for it cos he was talking to Wang Wan at that time so I didn't dare to ask...By the time, the girls went home, Steve went back to the boarding school! Sigh.... Good things never last.... Better believe it.. :P
Then Terence, Ivan and I went to KAP with Teng En, KhaiBoon, Ernest and JJ... They are such great company in my opinion... Although i still don't really talk much to Teng En cos i am still rather intimidated by him... Lol... Sigh.. Khaiboon is going back to M'sia tmr and he wished me an early happy birthday... That's like sooo sweet... And JJ and ernest were busy mocking Terence and everyone joined in...It's like a tradition in band to improve on eupho-saxa relations by mocking a certain person... Unfortunately, it's terence cos well, firstly he's fat and secondly he doesn't react that much to the mockery but laughs at it himself at times...
So at about 11.30, I boarded the 74 bus and opened the early bday present gave me.... Wah~ He's really damn good lor... Give me such nice things! Got bear (cute... hugging it rite now!), Wrist holder for mouse...Using it now too and a friendship keychain which I chained it onto my pencil case... but a word of advice for sean, next time when you are giving people something, kindly remove the price tags first... haha... but it's really sweet.. he also have a card to encourage me to grow taller... :)
Wowie... 12.30am now... so i guess i am going to sleep now... wad a great day! lolz

Yet another day of VE and movie watching... Nothing really interesting talk about nowadays (that explains the lowered frequency of my blog entries...)
So as usual, I went to school (VE specifically) by bus today early at 8am... So when the double decker came, I promptly squeezed through my way like an
ah sou and sat on the nearest seat possible without any hesitation - revealing the selfishness and kiasuism typical singaporeans have within their mentality... Phew.. I'm glad I'm typical and well,
normal for once..
Not long after, a old man sat in between a small girl and me on those side seats parallel with the bus, those 3-seater ones, and the opposite view of mine is the steps leading to the upper deck, yeah you get the idea... Ok, so this old man, suddenly opened his legs and i was physical forced to paste my face at the side to avoid contact with his pants.... Then throughout the whole 30 min journey, I was somehow like forced to be in a foetal position and didn't dare to move an inch cos the old man's legs were still wide open... So I was like totally numb and all and the most ridiculous thing is the fact that I still have no idea why am I writing this cos it's totally irrelevant other than proving my sexual orientation hetero so I should go on with what I want to say...
VE was total crap this morning.. We can't harmonise, we sang like shit, total bullcrap cos all our tone and sound sounded real bad... Jonathan couldn't control Darrell and the noisy sopranoes... Shi En and jeffrey were singing S.H.E's songs... Jeffrey was pulling Kevin's old-man's skin... Brandon wasn't singing at all but instead wrote a 'screw-up' on his middle finger and points it at Jonathan every 3 minutes.... The room was so very chaotic lor... VE total sucks shit... :'(
After that, Jeffrey, Jianyi, Darrell and I went to SIM for somewhat was their snack, but that one packet of fries inevitably became my lunch cos I have such limited vacuum in my stomach... And we met Ashley at the staff room after lunch, which Jianyi and I decided to go to Orchard first... So off we went...
Walked a long way to the Heerens and I went to 77th street to buy marcus his bitrthday gift *hint*... Then, I saw this girl, whose face looked so familiar.. Unwittingly, I waved at her.. And she waved back at me enthusiastically... Then I remembered - she was the sista I met at the choir workshop frm fairfield secondary school... haha, the girl that gave me a hug when we were acting out the meteor garden skit... So friendly... So we talked and so and she suddenly asked me for my MSN hotmail addie.. I hesistated and she suddenly blurted out, "I'm not going to hit on you you know?"... Haha, then I just gave a chuckle and gave her my addie... Haha, such a sweet sister type of gal... :P And yep, I finally bought Marcus' present... But I think I'm gonna give him something addtional and I still hafta buy Kun Won's present too...
Met Marcus at the fountain outside HMV at 1pm sharp and we popped into HMV to browse thru... Hmm... Saw Clay's christmas album and all... Quite nice but all are so ex!!! And, sigh, somehow I don't really talk
that much to Marcus offline.. It's like there's a glass barrier between his company and me... Strange, but the more I try to break-away, the more awkward it gets... It's like, Why am I still practising social cues with him after being in the same class and 3rd lang class with him for 2 straight yrs? Lol, hmm... Maybe I ain't that sociable after all... haha, but he is still cute nevertheless..... Gee.... He ain't heavy~ He's my brother~ Lalala~
So, the whole company met up - Marcus, ashley and arnold, Jeffrey, Jianyi and I met up and we bought the tics and stuff and watched the Incredibles show at 2.30pm.... Before that, we went to the food court at B1 for their lunch cos I was like, bloated still frm the fries... And just when everyone (well, most of em) were bugging me to go find sth to eat, I browsed thru the shops and suddenly wan wan (Chinese drama NY gal) waved at me frantically, and sitting opposite her were some girls and wait, isn't that Steve? Lol, so I waved back and scrambled off....
My general feelings about the bunch today is that I personally Arnold and Ashley are quite friendly, cos firstly Ashley always says hi to me (so sweet) and Arnold actually knows my name!!! Haha, but they are quite funny seriously and now I know how to differentiate between the twins.. To make it blunt, Arnold has a bigger nose... Not as in big, but broader than Ashley's cos both of them have real sharp noses... Loll...
The movie was nice basically, the animation, colours, humour, storyline (simple and short)... Haha, I originally adored Jack Jack cos his hair makes him look soooooo cute!!!! But everything changed when he transformed into the devil to screw the Incrediboi... Lol... Now I like Dash cos he's the second cutest fella.... I am so
superficial!!!
After the movie, we lingered around at the ticket counter cos we saw that the ticket stubs for Incredible can be exchanged for free stuff so we were all so jumpy abt it... Haha, and we tried to go for some lucky draw, originally thinking that it could win us a notebook (computer), but I took a second look at the lucky draw coupon and found out that the prize was a $250 Hasbro gift and toys hamper... So immediately, we tore the coupons and went off...
Just then, I saw someone in my band... Haha, someone looking so tall, wearing a white shirt and sling bag, with that friendly smile hanging on his charming face... Lol, haha i am sounding descriptively gay, lol, anyway, I saw Dai chao, and he waved at me! Lol, cos I always thought that he was rather anti-social, but I guess he can't resist my charm... Nopes, I am totally kidding, he's quite friendly la... It's like when i meet tengen and him in school, they also wave at me too.. Guess that's the responsibility of majors - to maintain friendship or at least some kind of relationship with all the members to get all the respect and support needed... Lol....
Hmm... After that, I bade Marcus, Ashley n arnold twins off... Aiyo, at that moment, I almost wanted to hug Marcus (in a brotherly way) cos it's like the last time we might be hanging out together but I resisted again cos 2 boys hugging in the public is perceived as subtle homosexual activity so I stopped myself and just waved bye at them... Lol
Then, jeffrey, jianyi and I went to a japanese restaurant for my late lunch and I had chawanmushi (steamed egg with mushroom, crab stick and jap fish cake) and had tori karrage set... Yummy, at the cost of $7.15... :"(
So now, I haf nothing to do, except chatting and I seriously have to go off now cos amazing race is showing on TV in 5 mins time!!! Cyaz!

The past few days have been boring, other than the fact that Pin yan accompanied for lunch and fun after the VE practices on Thurs and Fri.. Haha, even though he's rather rude to people he doesn't know very well and consistently offend them and annoy them (e.g. callin BingQian a slut - sorryz), he's really an innocent and funny boy....
This few weeks gave me a chance to know and associate with my VE juniors more, nonono, not as in associate thru going to
their hse, but just to talk to them, have fun and be crazy with them... Like going shopping with Pin yan on thurs before the singapore idol live show, and going crazy for daphne with Shi en during the show, going out with Brandon and Jianyi to mcdonalds to talk and all.. Its somehow fun and quite nice to know about most of them like how filthy rich Brandon is, how subtle Shi En is in his inner self and how fun Pin Yan is...
People always misunderstand Pin Yan as a really bad and spoilt brat and all sorts, but sigh... I seriously think he is a fun person to be with, rather metro as well, but he is like very 'in' and reveals the child in his soul all the time, doing stupid things to attract amused attention... I don't care what people say, but I really like him alot as a junior cos he never fail to brighten me up and always has his own way to cheer me up... Seriously, all my favourite juniors are from VE lor.... Like Pin Yan, Shi En, Yongquan, clement, brandon... Maybe a handful from band oso, but the band sec 1s this yr are atrocious...
My apologies for what may affect the band members that reads my blog, but this is truly what I feel.. As in this yr's sec 1 is sooooooo atrociously failing, that the whole band will collapse once newcomers next yr are like the sec 1s this yr - slack and shit....
The only section with enthu sec 1s are saxaphone and maybe flutes lor.... Trpts and Trbs and Hns section really not slack like mad, clarinets and tuba and percussion's sec one haf their seniors to show them bad examples and just go on and off.... Sigh... My section is also really bad lor... Bob is like damn slack, and he always conveniently forgets why he was late frequently.... Even his side reading and theory is more qiang then me, he always play one octave lower and so on... Then Jiunn Lin is enthu but he's overseas now... Now that's the bad thing about PRCs cos they always have to go back to China or M'sia and its like half of the sec 1s this yr are all PRC..... Let's not be racist and stop toking about it...
5th Decemeber 2004! A long-awaited 14th birthday is coming in 16days... Haha, I like to talk about it cos I am so haolian to tell everyone what I want (the impossible wishlist) which only my parents can afford cos its so over the budget....

Singapore Idol rocks... Not Sylvester nor Iskandar Ismail and his crappy musical arrangements though... :P
Singapore Idol rocks my world! Firstly, Olinda and Taufik rocks tonight... Secondly, Sly sucks. But the show is quite good basically....
Olinda's voice was quite nice tonight... Her first song was well-known and she pulled it off real well cos her power was great, the second song by Oliver the sweet old lady wasn't as nice cos it wasn't
that famous, but hmm.. it was quite good as well... The last song was 80% fantastic cos Oli really can sing her high blasty full notes but here comes Iskandar Ismail's or Babes' arrangment whereby the ending was so sudden that I didn't realise the song ended until Oli kept silent for 3 seconds... And her last note was almost turning into a nice climatic ending but was stopped by the music accompaniment, which held last note for about 3 seconds... Pretty disappointing I guess.... I mean, the music in American Idol even had background singers or nice climatic endings and such, but the ones in S'pore Idol are so terrible and inferior... Aiyo, next season must sack Iskandar and Babes and replace with those in American Idol liao.... p.S: Oli should stop adding singlish into her words when she speaks.. Its totally unidolish.... :P
TAUFIK!!!! His 'Ain't no sunshine' was phenomenal, everything was great except for the fact that he closed his eyes 80% of the performance, but seriously, Taufik has the looks and poise of the idol when compared to oli and sly... Sly is just a pretty face to the girls and a nose screwer to the others...His second song was real flat, something that the remaining contestants should not have is pitching problems, but sigh... this is Singapore nevertheless... His third song wasn't very good cos his volume wasn't loud enough to accompany the shitty arrangement... That might not be his fault but since the judges felt it was good, I find it ok, so it's good
lor. Taufik
shld be in the finals and
will win the competition hands down if all works for him in 1st Dec... Good luckz!
sly... adjs. to describe his perf tonite.... Bad, sucky and pathetic... His tone is real nasal and forcing and his looks when singing is ugly and his volume is weak... total weakness... Similar to AI season 3, this guy resembles Jasmine, where all her perfs were nowhere when compared to Diana
nor Fantasia, which is Oli n taufik in this case... So, i guess if all his deaf and stupid fans fail to call below 5 times
each, we can
finally say byebye to Sly! Yahoo! :P Can't wait for the results tmr.... to see Sly out to be more specific... :D

Firstly, let me recount on what happened on Sunday... There was this Sentosa Fountain of Youth concert thingum, and we were supposed to report at CHS band rm (makeshift one) at 1.30pm.... So I had lunch with my family at J8's Swensens using
my remaining $30 voucher cos I used the $20 one with Jianyi and Pinyan on Thurs... Then we ordered some Mixed Grill main course and a hawaiian pizza... Totally suck... Luckily, my favourite Sticky Chewy Chocolate was out of stock... If not, I won't be able to enjoy it wif a full stomach....
Then I went to band rm at 1.30pm sharp and changed into my hawaiian shirt... Looks totally ugly like crap... Then Sean was late and the whole brass section had to wait for him on the bus cos he took his bus in the wrong direction which brought him to Changi Airport... Seriously hilarious and stupid... Hmmmm.. Give more one thing on the list to laugh at him for....
The whole bus journey was totally boring, even though Sean was on the bus... Sigh, we did talk a little, but sigh, it still wasn't as interesting as the journey to Sentosa for Balloon Hats at the start of this year, cos Daniel was on board, and we (Sean, Danny and I) were like talking and chatting and laughing so heartily... Then Daniel was like 'gaying' with us and all sorts... Can't help but relishing this enjoyable experience... :P
After what seems to be like forever, we finally arrived Sentosa and immediately started practice with our weird looking hawaiian t-shirt on... The outdr perf was bound to screw up and it did.... During the whole perf thingum, outdr was screwed but not as much as the sit-down concert, cos the acoustic were so bad until the whole band can't be heard and the magnificient crowd of audiences were just admiring the fountain splashing with red lights and in different patterns behind the whole band.... Totally discouraging... :(
After the whole screw up, Mr. Lim and Mr. Siao was like saying that the perf was quite good and so on and I was literally scratching my whole body cos I was allergic to crap... The bus ride back was much more fun cos we were all laughing at CCB and his pumping system, where pple auction to see him pump like a meh donkey-cousin.... Once back at band rm, everyone crowded arnd the TV set to watch Charlie's Angels and I went home on the bus with Eric and Dion.... What a day wasted.... :(
Yesterday was Hari Raya public holiday, coincidentally, it was also my grandma's bday.. So everyone went to her house for celebration.. We arrived at 1pm and did nothing but watch TV or play with my table tennis set... The whole long wait was like so boring cos my other closer cousins arrived at about 5pm... Then the whole place was like dull, and everyone was like not lively nor happy.... Tiredness glooms in the 3 room flat at Bedok North...
One thing that ligthens up the mood might be the steamboat dinner, where all my cousins, 8 in total, had the dinner together... It was quite fun even though the dinner wasn't especially delicious, but I enjoyed it still the same.... And I had one round after one round and in the end, stuffed myself with 4 bowls of rice... Mmmmmm....
Then the whole lot of younger gen-pple watched Happy Fish II in the air con room whereas the adults watched the very same show in the stuffy living room... Same thing happened to The Champion, where all the kids watched the bitchy idol drama in the same old room.... The Champion rocks! Yilin rocks my world cos everyone hates her! :D Mwahahaha... Hmmm... I shld have steriods before NAPFA next yr! What an unrevolting thought...
Then I invited my cousin to stay in my hse for the nite cos both of us were totally bored and I dun mind another company and we played com games and so on.... Originally wanted to play table tennis but it's raining now.... So sian... Someone entertain me!

Idol Fanatic for the Past 2 Days! Disappointed to see Daphne go... More disappointed to see her go 'live' at the studio... :'(
It has been a great experience in being a fanatic of Daphne in Singapore Idol, esp. on Thurs and Fri cos the atmosphere in the live studio was just overwhelming, for Sly's fans that is.
The Spectacular show wasn't as spectacular as I thought it would be cos Daphne, even though sang 2 rather famous songs, didn't shine real well, but I still like her anyway. Olinda, however, did consistently well for the 2 songs, but I still think that she didn't really smoothen out the attack of her higher register unlike the original singer Theresa Teng... Oli's second song was finally one that
sounded like an idol cos it
finally had a climax - something always lacking in the finalists' performance, sadly....
Sly was total crap yesterday, and his chinese song was total imitation of Jay Chou and since I don't like Jay, I didn't like the performance one bit... Lastly, Taufik was... err... just plain boring cos his songs were just ant-climatic...
BUT his endings to his songs were great and emotional cos he manifested his falsetto real well and the notes just slides so smoothly... But not the cut of an idol I guess....
Throughout the show, I guess only Daphne's supporters at the lower deck and Shi En and I frm the upper deck screamed wildly for Daphne... The remaining 90% screamed for Oli and Sly and the malay community were screaming madly for Taufik... It was quite a phenomenal experience cos its like so totally cool and everything... Btw, the theatre itself is real small and we (pin yan, jianyi, shi en and me) had to make do with sitting on the front steps of the upper deck but the view was still quite good...
The second day is presumably better... or worse... Admission into the theatre was real chaotic.. We had to pose as Olinda's fans and snooped into Daphne's family area... Then we offered our help to raise a big 5-person banner saying "Definitely Daphne!" and we were waving it like mad whenever the commercials ended... It was a fun experience cos we were like screaming and waving at her frantically... Daphne waved at me a few time during the show cos we totally adore her soooo much!!! She's like a short, but cute and friendly little girl with an amazing unique voice that people don't appreciate... :(
What's worse to prove the abovementioned sentence is that she has to go to the bottom 2 with Sly! It's till that moment that we know that Daphne has a higher chance to be ousted at the night... :'( Cos Sly has damn many fans going ga-ga over him!!! Truly! 65% of the stage audience were like 'Sly we love you!' all the time.. Scary but admirable... Heh heh...
So yep, unfortunately, Daphne got the boot and amazingly, she remained calm and happy, held back her tears and made yet another phenomenal exit with one of the most unique "I will survive" that got everyone clapping for her cos it was just so upbeat and beautifully sang - by a young and aspiring 17 year old pop star... It was till after her song that she finally broke down into tears.... It was a real touching moment, cos even their family and fans were real glum and sad, I mean who wouldn't be, but Daphne will still remain as a cute and funky girl in the hearts of all rite?
After the show, we waited at the reception, and after the long-awaited moment, Daphne arrived! Originally, I just wanted to see her cute face and go home. But Pin Yan told me to get her signature cos it was once in a lifetime opportunity, for us at least... So I took out my poster, grabbed his pen and squeezed through the mountain of fans (really, i ain't exaggerating) and stuff my poster in front of her face (cos same height wat..) and she immediately noticed the big poster and signed on it... After thanking her for a few times while she was signing it, she took a look at me for once and I asked her to give me a five before I squeeze out of the crowd and she did! With a funky and friendly smile, she stretched out her palm at mine! Woo-hoo! I was literally yay-ing and jumping out of the crowd!! Some people wait a lifetime, for a moment like this! yay! Daphne rocks big time!!! :D
Sigh... I really wish Brandon will give us the finale tickets too so we can revisit this moment again.... Or maybe not... But this whole experience is indeed fun and everything cos its like behaving mad and forget about everything for once... Unbelievably fun!

3 Days of Terror, Fun, Exhaustion, Friendship Bonding and Entertainment! Yep, my fantastic class chalet and my financial arithmetic workshop teaching ended today. What an eventful 3 day experience...
Monday: Early in the morning, I took a bus to school to meet Sean and Rujun to take off to River Valley Pri School, our designated teaching campus. For your info, Sean's mom teaches in RV and he was an ex-RVian in his 'glorious' primary school years. So we went there and completed our
Living It Up monopoly game, which Sean and his mom
kindly created for the workshop and went for lunch at KFC of Great World City...
So at 1.3opm, the teaching started. We set up in the P5 class and when the supposedly young and innocent Prim 5s stepped in, we were like totally intimdated cos they all seem real naughty and talkative. Then we just taught them everything about CPF, Banking and blah... I suck when compared to Sean... : [ And oh, by the way, I forgot to relate my superior experience when I walked amongst the primary school kids cos for the first time in history, I
feel tall. Wow. Amazing.
Then it's chalet time! I went there at 5pm then saw Hurwitz, Kaijun, Kah Wee, Marcus, Sua and Jianyi already playing XBox in the room already... So I went for a bathe and played with them also. The game was SoulCalibre or something somewhere close to this word and I did wonders by button spamming - 1. I broke Kah Wee's winning streak of about 6.... 2. And I beat every other player consecutively in the winner-in-loser-out arrangement.. And so how did I beat them with my natural skill? I chose a female character in all my fights and the chio-est chio bu will win the fight and alas, so i won all the matches tyco-ly. :P
We later travelled to Tampines Mall via MRT and bus and the whole segregation was so obvious that we were really walking in packs of 4 - Taiboon, Sua, Jianyi and I (in the frnt) and Marcus, Hurwitz, Kah wee and Kai jun (at the back)... So we tried to connect to each other literally and was returned with amused faces. Lol... We decided to watch Shark's Tale at 2100 in the end despite Taiboon's strong protests that it sucked big time... I have to disagree this time... It's quite nice and simple but hmm.. maybe not worth $6.50... And I don't mean the ticket price.. I got freaking ripped off by buying nachos combo and couldn't finish it cos I was so freaky damn bloated... : (
So it was SoulCalibre time for them frm 12 - 4am when I was
DESPERATE in trying to sleep, but they always wake me up cos the sound was so loud, the lights and evrything so at 4am, I gave up trying to sleep and we decided to play Dodgeball with marcus' soccer ball... It was totally fun and all cos it is real cool and FUN! So it was lights off at 5am, leaving Hurwitz to play the game himself until we woke up at 7am..
Tuesday:
My alarm clock sounded at 7am and I woke up, but under the persuasion and strong influence of my fellow chalet-mates to skip VE cos I was just simply too tired and all-sorts... And even if could attend VE, I can't attend the whole session so i guess I have lots of explanations to do...
Hmmm.. We had breakfast at Mcdonalds (while most of us did), and I set off to RV whereas the rest bowled and saw Hurwitz off back home. The 2nd day was quite fun, cos I became more comfortable in teaching the kids and wasn't that scared of the p5 kids anymore. The game playing went quite smoothly too... This whole teaching experience has turned into fun lessons somehow on the 2nd day.. :D Kudo's to Sean's and his mom's resourcefulness!
We were totally drenched cos me and Rujun was hit by a heavy rainfall on our way to the bus stop opposite RV, whereas Sean was simply strolling under his umbrella and I was like totally sick cos I still had to take a train from Dhoby Ghaut to City Hall, City Hall to Pasir Ris, and a bus to Downtown East and walk 5 mins to the chalet,
DRENCHED! It's a surprise that I am still not sick, maybe a lil giddy headache but it's still fine so thanks for your concern...
When I got back, Tai Boon welcomed me, well, in his swimming trunks only. His body was real sizzly hot, as in red hot cos it is just literally
RED! He bought some tonning solution and applied on his body with the exasperation to get tan in one day
AFTER he went to beach for his tanning session. how effective can that be... His face is totally red like Terence's and we were like laughing at him, or at least I was... :P
Then Marcus came in and told me about the fantastic Xbox game they borrowed called Tony Hawk Undergrd which was some skating game. It was real fun to play and more fun to watch people play... I seriously suck in that game, and Sua Yu rocks the most in that game. In all aspects, hands down.
So it was Movie Time again, and we went to Tampines Mall for the Princess Diaries: Royal Engagement, which Jianyi, Sua and Marcus said that it sucked. Tai Boon was against them. And I was like, I love them both, I love all of you! Cos I like the movies quite a bit, unless they are
that sucky like 13 going on 30 or sth... Sua was pissed on the way back to the chalet but was livened up at the sight of the black machine. And he played with Marcus while I was watching, cos Jianyi and Taiboon slept earlier... Even though I can't really play the game, I still share the same excitement and fustration to get over the specified level/task... And thoughtful Marcus was like prompting me to play all the time cos he is afraid that I am lonely or left out...
Wednesday: We checked out at 1030am and went to White Sands for Delifrance breakfast. It's a big hole in my pocket but well, its worth it. Garlic bread, strawberry tartlet and ice tea.. Mmm... Then we took the MRT to City Hall and changed to Dhoby Ghaut which I then alighted on my journey to RV. I feel a tinge of sadness in my heart leaving Jianyi my best friend, Taiboon my
special friend and esp. Marcus my lil' bro... : (
Seriously, I feel that the remaining company I have in the chalet - Marcus, Sua, Jianyi and Taiboon are almost like my family in school. Those that I have an affirmity with, those that will never leave me out or forget me, or vice versa. I really enjoyed their company throughout the chalet and the fact that we are going to be separated makes the chalet visit more worthwhile for me. How sweet and heartwarming..
The financial maths lesson at RV was also rewarding cos I am so glad that the p5s understood mostly on what we taught thru the post workshop quiz and even though Sean has the most ticks for the 'Who's your favourite teacher?' question in the evaluation form, I am soo happy that 8 people actually voted for me.. Lol..
The
best thing is, after the workshop, which had lots of girls going ga-ga over Sean cos he is so charming and sweet, and charismatic, even Rujun have his own admirers of his own. There are 2 gals consistently talking to him and poking his ribs for sensory laughter and enjoyment. They even approached Rujun for his email and MSN hotmail. Wow... P5 gals nowadays ar.... :P
However, it's rather sad that Sean can't go watch SI with me tmr but the good news is I reapproached Jianyi and he could make it cos he originally thought that Gunung Ledang was tmr... So blur but so friendly, and I can't wait till tomorrow!!! XD

Life is so sad...
Leandra is officially out of S'pore Idol!!! The worse part is Olinda is
still in! But never mind, if things remain unchanged, Oli will go out next week, and I will be at the live show laughing
AT her! Mwahaha!
By the way, 3 of my 4 tickets are taken up, and since Jianyi and Marcus can't make it, I've approached Sean abt it... This guy ar, still need time to consider one, it's like lots of people are
dying (if they are as desperate as me) to go watch it... But never mind, next week's theme is like... err...
ASIAN POP? Lol.. Daphne's going to sing something like Persian Cat and Oli is going to sing something in Indian that's going to be her final song of the competition! Mwahaha...
Why Olinda next week? Cos last last week, when Chrissypoo was out, Leandra was in the bottom 2 and Oli was in the bottom 3. And this week, Oli is in bottom 2 and Lovely Leandra is out! So, if her supporters do call for call more than 5 times, she might be the next Jasmine Trias and be in the top 3 doubtedly...
Enough of my insightful analysis here... Band today was quite tiring and fun... More outdr formation for 4 straight hours... Massage frm mom rocks! Hope that the outdr performance will turn out well next Sunday!
Busy week next week - Sigh.. I want to go for the class chalet but time

Mwahaha! I am soooo happy and delighted today! Woo-hoo! Singapore Idol fever!!!
Firstly, VE was quite fun today, we tried to perfect our 'Sanctus' song which Siewyp consistently said that my low falsetto tone and volume sucks cos firstly, I can't really control my low falsetto notes and secondly, I am solo singing against four majestic, intimidating (size that is)
airy SOPRANOES!!!
And when she sang to show me the 'model example', she used her natural voice to push her volume over my low falsetto inferior singing. I mean, yes, even though I suck in singing, but I ain't that bad lor.. At least I don't go off-pitch, or at least, I think I usually don't go off-pitch... Hears a whisper from afar: "
Like real.."
Then went for Ping Pong session with Jianyi and Brandon, literally
WASTED half and hr there and we went to KAP by
TAXI!! Yep, cos' Brandon was so freaking rich that he wanted to take a freaking taxi there... Lol, since my EZ-Link card is out of credit, why not take the advantage?
When we were there, Brandon just handed me a 50 dollar note and asked for our orders, and said that he was giving us a treat! oMgOmG!!! Of course, we took advantage again and bought the food and consumed it heartily.. Then we went back to school and it was time for band!!!
Before falling-in, my father smsed me and told me that he got 4 tickets for the live and results show of S'pore Idol next week!!! Yay! Finally my wishes came true! Since I have 4 tickets, Shi En n Pin Yan are going, so I have one left. Originally, it was Jianyi but since he has council retreat next week, I think i will be giving the ticker to Marcus or some other interested people? Eric mebbe? See first la.. But gosh, so exciting! Imagine going there and shouting Daphne, Leandra (probably will get kicked out tmr), Taufik or Sylvester! Sorry everyone, but I seriously have some hatred against Olinda. Just don't really like her...
Band starts.. Warm up.. Feelings zi bei... Played and heard some nice songs: 7 nites of July, Gandalf and Festive OVerture... Real cool... Haha.. I played a solo for myself... 3 semi-breathes of concert Bb and 1 minum of the very same note... Lol.. Was trembling but yay I made it through the rain, and kept myself protected and made it through the rain~~~ Blah...
Watched Idol again.. Damn anti-climatic.. Taufik was phenomenal.. I second that he is the
best and most consistent singer in the competition, followed by Olinda... Daphne's songs were my favourites cos her tone rocks... Mebbe she just needs to add a lil effects like holding long notes or go Uh-oh-Uh-oh~ Oh yea~ Oh No~ at times to make it sound more... err... pro.. Yah.. Leandra and Daphne were weakest despite Sylvester singing the same level as them. Sylvester have some power to hypnotise girls and make them go gaga over him. Strange but phenomenal.... Cool.. We'll see how it goes tmr then!
Sigh.. Neopets' down now so I am blogging lor.. See? My life is so boh liao.... :P Drills tmr! I'm lovin' it! Cya!

Saturday: S'pore Idol day for me! I woke up early and went to Heerens at 8am with Pin Yan, my VE junior. We went there to queue up for the S'pore Idol party tickets after reading the 8 days mag promo.. It was my first time queuing up for something for about 4 hrs or so cos' I always saw those long queues for concert tickets, National Day parade and stuff, so I guess everything has its first.
So there I was, playing cards with Pin Yan, listening to my CD and just reading Lime magazines. It is quite fun actually with Pin Yan along, cos' he always does stupid stuff to make me feel embarrassed or his innocence makes me laugh a lot.. We wanted the tickets so that Shi En and some other guy can join us to meet our 'idols'!!! I personally support Daphne and Sylvester cos' Daphne is so cute like Japanese girl and so lovable and Sylvester is so cool and shuai... Even though his voice isn't my favourite...
The best singers in the competition should be Taufik and Leandra in my opinion cos their voice appeal to me a lot. Real smooth and sweet/emotional. Especially Taufik. Olinda's have a powerful tone but that doesn't really mean that she is the best, like what most of the people perceive good singing as... She can't really sing tender songs, like the big band song last week, but no doubt she is real good.. The remaining 5 idol hopefuls, I think Sly has the weakest voice cos rock and roll is over, it's soul and R&B this week so it isn't really his strength, have to see how he pulls it off... Haha! Gogogo! Daphne and Sylvester rocks!
Ok, back to the queue, so we waited until 11.55am, 5 mins before the tickets are distributed, here comes an organiser with a S'pore Idol tag suddenly shouted that those under 16 aren't allowed to get the tics. Shit lar, we were originally confident that we will sure get the tickets cos we are about the first 40 odd in the queue.. Just then, 50% of the queue was like swearing cos we spent 4 hrs to know that we cannot get the tickets as it wasn't printed on the damn 8 days mag... :'( Pin Yan and I can't help but feel disappointed but what can we do? We just get some freebies - a poster and a notebook that is definitely not worth 4hrs of waiting for and we decided to go to the roadshow to meet the idol finalists in flesh instead...
We took some pics and saw the finalists live! Sylvester is real shuai and Taufik and Leandra and Olinda are very friendly, waving to the audiences frantically... Daphne is so real short... I think she is shorter than me.. Hahaha... I don't feel that zi bei cos I can't really take her photo cos of her height... Sylvester was really popular among the girls, it's like everyone taking pictures at the roadshow were rooting for him only.. Wow.. that's what I call a powerful girl magnet.. Btw, catch this week's idol cos we might be on TV cos we were rather in front of the stage when the camera shot us.. We were bouncing frantically for our 1 second of fame on iDol tv... :D
Then it was 1pm and we rushed for VE. Made it though... And even though we didnt get the tickets, and we are still disappointed, I really wish my father could help me get some tickets. He said that its possible to get 4 tickets for either this week or next wk's live and result show.. But shan't keep my hopes high.... Must pull strings from Brandon for the finale tickets too! I want to watch the show live so much.... :)
Here's a song to all, hoping that everyone will be happy and optimistic: Joy to the world by American Idol 1 finalists: (sang by Daphne in the 1st spectacular too!)

Joy to the World by American Idol 1 Finalists
Jeremiah was a bullfrog,
Was a good friend of mine.
Never understood a single word he said,
But I helped him a-drinkin' his wine.
Yes, he always had some mighty fine wine.
Chorus:
Singing joy to the world
All the boys and girls now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea,
Joy to you and me.
If I were the king of the world,
Tell you what I'd do.
Throw away the cars and the bars and the wars,
And make sweet love to you.
Repeat Chorus Twice....

Friday: Didn't really feel as bad as I thought it would be... Maybe it's because it wasn't that emotional. Even though there was a tinge of sadness in my heart, but I mean, we'll still meet again rite? So it ain't that bad to be separated cos' we will still be in the same school and consortium wad...
Got my report book back. 1.oo... Wow. Not at all accomplishing.. Not if 11 other people (and freaks) got the same position and MSG as yours truly... This 1.00 grade is like, nothing after all.. Cos 2M pwn'ed 2N and 2O, which had 3 and 4 1.00s' respectively. 2M does rock.
Sigh... I think the person I will miss most is Marcus... I mean, nothing private, but it's just what I feel. I've told him that also cos' I will miss his funny jokes and mockery at me and his lil' brother image that will always imprint in my mind when I see him... I won't miss Jianyi that much cos' we'll still be doing SMP for next year so we'll meet up very often and gossip.. Tai Boon and the rest, I shan't say more... I am sure that we will still stay in contact.. Will always meet Jeffrey and Darrell in VE, so... I will miss the offline Marcus... :'(
I sincerely dedicate this song - Without You by Kelly Clarkson to all my best friends, esp. Marcus and Jianyi:

Without You by Kelly Clarkson
No I can't forget this evening
Nor your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way the story goes
You always smile
But in your eyes, your sorrow shows
Yes it shows
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore
Well I can't forget this evening
Nor your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way the story goes
You always smile
But in your eyes, your sorrow shows
Yes it shows
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give anymore
Noo
No no no no
I can't live
I really think that the lyrics describes my feelings to all my going-to-be-separated friends cos I truly think that these special people makes my life worth living for.. Thanks to all the times you've been through with me, all the jokes you shared with or made me into, and the encouragement when I needed it most. Can't live, if living is without you!!!!
