Sigh... A year has just past me by. Secondary 2 life will be over tomorrow. Life will be real different after tomorrow.. :(
With the implementation of special programmes, most of my best friends will not be in the same class as me. I really can't describe my feelings other than pure sadness.. I mean, after two yrs of friendship, some even started this year, I really can't bear to lose my best friends, just like how i couldn't bear to be separated frm the band sec4s and burst out crying...
Below are a few pple that will most likely be in different classes from me:
1. Kun Won - The lamest and funniest guy in band and class, this treasured friend will surely be my best friend forever. I admire him a lot for his high aspirations to be a professional musician, and even though he gets angry with me at times for playing the eupho that badly, he never fails to encourage me and humour me to make me happy. I really wish that even though we are likely to be in diff class, our friendship is still as strong like always cos' we always meet in band... I truly believe that he has the potential and perserverance to make it and become the qiangest eupho player ever in band... :D
2.Jianyi - The friend that accompanies me all the time, always feeling quite alone and is described as a 'Mr. nice guy' by everyone that knows him. I think he would be in SMRP 3M next yr and I am really sad that we mightn't be with each other and gossip or just chat anymore... Having real similar interests and stuff as me, Jianyi is always there to be a listening ear and consoles me when I am feeling down... To be frank, I really don't think that he is stupid but he really needs to work on his lazy habit at times or is it the absent-mindedness? Anyway, he is definitely much much cleverer than me despite the results of exams or reports might show otherwise. A good friend he will be for always, a good pal I will be for always also... :D
3.Taiboon - Like the abovementioned friends, he has been my friend for about 2yrs also, described as a very err.. 'special' friend. He is real open abt his sexual orientation and consistently amuses me and jianyi with his antics. 3 of us are real good friends esp after the chalet last nov and we always hang out, therefore we are so close together... Despite the fact that our friendship is on and off, we are mutually still real good friends and he is also a good listening ear... Haha.. Good luck in ur relationship(s)! :D
4. Marcus - Ohh.. sigh.. I think I will miss him a lot oso.. Cos he's sooo cute! Sometimes like my elder brother and sometimes like my lil brother liddat (his bday is 9days after mine!) Cos we hang out real often before third lang and we really became close friends after talking alot to each other during the waiting times of Humanities Nite... And
he's gonna quit 3rd lang nxt yr!! That means I wun be able to see him that often le... Being separated with him is like losing a very good friend or brother.. He's always my listening ear and I (tink that I) am always his... I can empathise wif his problems, laugh at his obsession of Breakaway and he always corrects my English mistakes and stuff.. Really gonna miss him lots.. Nevertheless, he is the most sporty friend I have and I think he will be a professional wadeva-sport-he-rox-in when he grows up. Take a risk, take a chance, make a change and

Yet another tiring day outside school. Firstly, the bioinfomatics course was like total shit, about some Rosalind Franklin's work stolen by Maurice Wilkin, another scientist to give the data to Watson and Crick to solve their DNA puzzle and gain fame... Total scientific bitchiness...
Then we had the
amazing race, which we went to different cliched landmarks to do some quite challenging task. The freaking botanical gardens was freaky! But anyway, having completed 7/8 stations, our grp is second to Darrell's grp cos we worked so perfectly together. Haha, without Darrell running together with us, this race would be a failure so yay! Prizes tmr! :D
After the race debrief, we (sua yu, kun won, jianyi and I) sat down beside a teacher and talked about another teacher and I was brainwashed into thinking that the teacher we talked about was a bad man, toying with our 'affections' and our respect n admiration at him.

Anyway, Jianyi, taiboon and I went to Bugis to buy gifts for Mr. Suresh, Mrs. Giam and our respective MRP mentors and I am happy with my gifts. Expensive though but well, worth for their departure. Life is so sad...
Then, watched TV and sleep until 9pm and watched 'the champion'.. What a nice show! Toro and Fiona make a good couple as they look so sight appealing and the whole storyline isn't as sucky as
other ch8 drama serials... So yep I am going to catch charmed and the champion tmr! :D
Sigh... Sky captain and the world of tmr tmr... Wonder the picture is.. Hope that I understand what they are saying. Are there chinese subtitles?? I find reading subtitles more effective than listening cos I am more of a visual person, even in learning..

Oh to add on to my previous post, I had 65.5 for my Japanese EOY, and that adds up to a 67 (B3) for my Overall Japanese grade... SO much for being an A1 student last time... Real sad that Marcus and Albert failed their EOY, esp. marcus cos despite having a flu before the exam, he continued to study until like 1am and didnt absorb anything in the end, so its a real pity...
Also, we met sean and shi wei at the staff rm today, haha, like always, sean and I mocked each other and and hit each other with friendly affections and blah, when suddenly shi wei asked me if I knew him. Then I said his knew and thot he didn't knew me. To my surprise, he blurted out my name... Hmmm.. Must be the works of Sean or Ting Wei...
Sigh, on the MRT platform, with albert, marcus and yong lin, we discussed abt buying my dream flip phone as I took a pamphlet frm the road stall in J8 and they told me that Motorola and Panasonic flip phones suck. Hoo-hum.. They recommend Samsung. So did Tai boon. Ok, samsung flip phone hunt begins now!!!
Amazing race tomorrow! So exciting. Until i dowan to do science anymore. Must rebel! Be bad boy and shldnt do work! Hmph...
For another queer reason, I poured all my sorrows on ting wei on MSN tonite, he is quite a good listener but nevertheless, just wanna thank him for his time and I appreciated it. Yay! Shopping for gifts at orchard with jianyi and taiboon tomorrow!!! Only 3 of us! No one else... Hmm.. mebbe sua yu can join in and

Sigh, we were such good friends with Aaron Chen in P6, even though we fought due to our ambitious ambitions, and competitive competition, we were still close till the end. Being in the same class for 3 yrs and in the same CCa for 1.5 yrs, we are always competing in everything - Height, Grades, everything and anything... Gosh.. those were the times..
Unlike now, where lerong, another ex-rosythian is like, "er.. I must be in the top 1! I must get 1.00 and trash yong lin, zheng hang, sua yu, khee xuan, yufeng, sheng wei, taiboon..." what the hell, he is too scheming already and too competitive... :(
I am beginning to like my class more and more, but we shld get rid of all the black sheep first... To jianyi, suayu and taiboon, frenz 4ever! Haiz, wonder wad kind of shitty class I will be going to nxt yr. My only consolation is that marcus chose normal stream also. So hope that I will be in the same class as him. But then again, he has his NY friends so my hopes aren't that high. It's also up to fate then... Be optimistic!!! :D

Haven't been blogging for a extremely long time. 17 days or more I suppose.
Anywayz, I have lots to write so all my blog readers will know what's happenin in these 17 days of my miserable life.
Firstly, my results. An elusive 1.oo MSG is so near yet so far. All my academic subjects, yep, including english, are all A1. So it all comes down to Com Studies. Believe me, in Aphelion, ProEd or Ortus, a CS A1 is a freebie in the results slip. But in iSpark, where 50% of the students promptly did not hand in their term 2 PHP project, which 80% of those that handed up submitted lang yingjie's BookIt PHP file, the CS grade for sec 2 iSparkians ain't that optimistic at all. I'm really counting on CS to get my first ever and only 1.00 and prevent mr. monsieur le bon to get the CS A1 as well as the title of the top in class... May all goes well for me! :D
Next,
BAND. Is there any other word that can screw me up that disastrously? Not that I can think of. If one should have my band schedule, with Mondays/Tuesdays, Thursday and Friday taken up for band practice, one should faint or die due to fatigue. Gosh! 3 practice every 7 days! 12 hours every week! It's scary, esp. under the reign of
foo small chick, where she calls our parents for every practice we 'pon', band's discipline is supposingly made to be much better... Btw, Lam PL gave birth to a baby boy! Yay! :D Sigh... I really wanna pon band... :'( But being a scheming person, I am use the long duration in band for my advantage... NYAA Skill development or Physial Recreation???
Lol, anyway, for my blog reader's info, or some should have known cos I kept whining and harping on the fact that I am staying at my granny's hse for 2 wks as my parents are enjoying life at china, so life is pretty much confined and boring.
The
cleverest thing I did before going for the stay is to burn all my favourite tracks and movies onto a cd so that I would not be that bored at her hse. It worked actually, and I am currently listening to my faves:

No doubt I can earn 10k every day, but the slow speed itself is making me more bored and I am now sick of neopets. Not giving out my account though, cos there are 340k inside and my pets rock big time. And I love to battle! Esp. with Marcus cos, err.. he's the only one that is willing to battle with me...

Life in my granny's hse is like so boring... But luckily, due to the fact that I am the only 'nei grandson' (as in my granny's son's son), she spoils me a lot.. Giving me money for Mcdonalds and spending.. Helping me do the chores despite her old age and inability to walk properly due to her swelling leg and all her nice home-cooked food that I will never get to it at my home cos both my parents are bad cooks.. Even the rice cooker cooks better than them.. So that's that...
But just now, she had a stomachache and flu so we had to send a doctor to see her.. Seems rather serious.. Just then, I received an email frm Ting Wei abt the phone ringing after one send the email to 5 or more people. I tried it out and made my wish(es):
1. Good grades for Daniel's, HaoQuan's, WuiSiong's, Alfred's, Mong's and other beloved sec 4's O Levels... Saw Daniel (but didnt talk much.. :'( ), HaoQuan and Wuisiong yesterday after Grad day.. Made me reflected on the fact that how impactful they were in band - They were the ones that made me like band, enjoy band and enjoy every moment spent with them. I really miss them and hope that they will do well in their O lvls, esp. Wui Siong and Hao Quan, so that I can see them at HCJC next yr. For qiang zhes like Mong, Daniel and Alfred, it would definitely not be a problem for them to excel and I hope to see them soon after their exams.. Good luck!
2. Health for my grandma and my parents in china cos I am such a filial child..
3. To have a new hanphone! Flip Phone! Samsung or Motorola! Wadeva! Must be cool! Silver, blue, black also accepted! But I don't dare to tell my parents that. I mean, my Nokia 2100 is the latest
non-colour phone and I only used it for one year, but flip phones are the 'in' thing now and it's so cool!!! It's style and evrything! But, sigh...my parents sure wouldn't catch my hints. again.

Capteh Mania! I won Jie Fu and Sheng Wei! Muahahaha! Eng EXAM tmr! Grrr... Screwed up in today's music keyboard lesson.. :S
Today is such a fun day, I mean I played capteh today and started my first game with one of the better opponents - Jie Fu! And I just served normally and when he returned with his super duper fast-n-fiery leg, I just headed the capteh back at his court and I won because I headed 2 times with my clever head. Dunno whether it is worth it cos' I wonder how many
MORE pimples will pop out bcos of the 'header'. And I beat sheng wei too! Woohoo!
Lessons were mainly rather boring except for English when we had
essential tips for compo and compre: I only have 21/50 for the Squirrel's compre and that is like so crappy!!! My compo about expo of radio being slower, less useful and interesting as compared with the TV and Internet only had 20/30 cos it was too conventional and the expression was sucky. Clarinda totally embarrassed me in front of the whole class by pointing out my mistake of writing and aprostophe 's' at the start of line cos' there wasn't any space left to complete the word 'advertisements'. She don't like me and I know it! Hmph.. *pouts and walks off... : D
The English EXAM is tomorrow! Gosh! Why so lil' people wish me good luck one... I think I not popular already.. So sad right? *Sniff.... Anyway, I just need to memorise the formats and tips for compo and compre and I shall do an exercise for compre - the mcdonalds one cos that is real difficult (I got 21/50 for that too.) And for tomorrow, I pray hard to do well and get
at least 33/50 for both compre and compo to get an overall confirmed A1 for Language and after tmr, I am announced as
FREE!
Btw, I am so embarrassed again by the fact that I screwed up in today's Keyboard lesson as I was playing "merrily we roll along", the whole volume was like sometimes soft then loud and very unpleasing to the ear. And when Mrs. Chan-Lam Poh Ling wanted me to end the song with the 'Ending accompaniment' button, I did press the button and in the process i accidentally hit a clashy chord immediately after so the accompaniment sound didn't play out and instead it was replaced by the clashy chord sound that serves as a bad ending to the already bad playing which made evryone laughed. Sigh... I was so zibei lor... But nvm, no more Music and CS after today le! Hahaha! So happy! :D

Tired day. Slept only 4 hrs to survive the disastrous schooltime! Hmph... Assumptions... Rewriting 'Breakaway':
Sigh... I was tossing and turning till 2am this morning and I was like half dead in the morning. I think 2am is one of the latest time I have slept during school days. So tired!!!
Anyway, lessons were generally ok today, except I forgot what we did for Maths today.. Orh.. Quadratic factorisation - that is quite simple but for some reason, my lethargicity couldn't zip my mouth soon enough to blurt stuff about my exemption or how easy factorisation was so it made me looked as if I was arrogant, which i was in my opinion.
Hmm... CS was bull-crap cos' after Kuang Li's presentation (excluding me cos' I did nth), we were allowed to slack and I played 'Before Your Love' repititively and completed my unfinished compre that was damn hard to do. Science was ok as well, we touched on biotechnology and it was quite fun and simple. More logical than skill-based I think.
History is fun cos' after writing the reflections we could slack or erm.. 'study' for our exams. And I didn't noe that Mrs. Giam taught Alfred until I read his blog yesterday. lolx... Anyway, lucky for me, Mrs. Giam has appraised me already! Yahoo!
Chinese was quite fun cos we had the 'ci2 hui4 da4 tiao3 zhan4' (Chinese Ting Xie Challenge!) and I won my round when pitted against Yong Lin, Zheng Hang and Sua Yu, the so-called 4 da4 jing1 gang1 (Four big gold iron) as termed by Lerong. Actually, sua yu wasn't the 'original' gold iron as he considered Yufeng more supreme than Sua. Wadever, Sua Yu and I did better than yong lin and zheng hang in the end. Yay!
Lit was not-boring cos Marcus and Sua presented their Oral Defence speech to the class. Frankly, I think that they are damn pro but for some reason, Laurang still prefered Sua's presenation over Marcus cos' it is longer. Sigh... Wadeva.. I hate exams. Don't u too?
English was crap oso cos for the content of the compre, I only had 9/25 whereas people like Yufeng and taiboon had 19/25. Unfair!!! I think I am going to fail this compre le... So sad... Must study and mug like mad.. A1 for English = possible but hard to reach.. :S

So after school, JIanyi and I had lunch and we were talking about widening social circles and friends in school in Sec 2 cos I recalled how naive i was in sec one and hoped to be sec one again but then again, in sec 2 I haf 'more' friends in a sense and it's a wonder why no one has daoed me before. Maybe except for Jeffrey. then Jianyi suddenly blurted out that Jin yang was daoing me. Then I was like err.. nowadays Jianyi have been toking more about him lately... Hmmm.. What does that imply? (*winks at Jianyi) Lolx.. jking la..
Then we went to Space for the farewell 'audition', that was total crap but in the end, we are confirmed to sing 'I will survive' by gloria
GAYnor... Muahaha! Ok, let me tell you what is sucky about us in singing this song:
1. Jianyi said that we cannot imitate the tone and power of a
BLACK WOMAN's voice.
2. I said that tai boon is going way off in the style of the song, it is supposed to be like break free from love that kind of song and not SEUDCTIVE song. Gosh!
3. Jianyi's tone doesn't fit the song, Taiboon's inunciation doesn't fit the song, and I... sigh... It just sounds weird.... Negative times negative times negative = Negative... C'mon ting wei, sing with us then...

Burning Midnight Oil today... Again.
Today is yet another ok day, and we got back our Chinese second mock test, which I had 42/65 for the main paper and 26/30 for the compre! Muahaha! But my zong he tian kong sucks - the practice YangWZ gave, i failed terribly with a 8/20... Anyway, we were on TV yesterday! Yay? No Yay... It sucks totally, i didn't see myself though cos' I missed the whole thing all together. Sad? Happy!
Maths was generally boring and stuff and since yours truly is arrogant and exmepted, I did the paper for 15 mins and walked around, talk here and there and basically slacked the whole period. Maybe yangwz didn't understand the meaning of exemption - it means not to take exams for EOY and
WHY ARE THE EXEMPTED SPECIAL STUDENTS ARE STILL HAVING CHINESE PRACTICES AND STUPID MOCK TESTS????!!!??!?!? Gosh, I am so angry! : (
Then Assembly was boring, frankly I don't even care if our school gets any award, I mean, what's the use? I shan't talk about it anymore. I
HATE politics! And our school is so cheena until it encaptures the kiasuism as well. School politics suck.
Double Lit. was quite ok also, I mean, laurang always goes off topic for 5-10 mins, esp. during double period. A comment like, "Your earrings don't go well with your blouse." can turn into a 5 min debate or discussion about metrosexual fashion that is like so fun! But anyway, Emily is boring.. : O
After school, stayed back to play capteh until 3 then took bus home. Saw dion with NY gal on the bus. Police and thief was stupid. And as I passed Rosyth school on my way home, I recalled the times when I was P3 in Kong Hwa School, when we always played catching and skipped recess and that was so fun until the Discipline master stopped us and we played running instead. It's like a small narrow corridor and we formed 2 rows with diff no. of pple, mixed genders and we just ran aimlessly for the fun of it. The DM stopped us again and we had nth better to do. So I decided to train up a fattie in my same class for TAF club and we ran and skipped in the big parade square every recess and suddenly everyone started to bring their skipping ropes and we had a marathon and we displayed all our skills and stamina and I always did the cross jumping and stuff and it was so memorable and fun. And stupid. But that was when I was p3 so i think it is reasonable to be stupid and childish for once.
Gosh I missed childhood. :*(

Gosh.. I am addicted to Neopets right now! It is like so fun and the dice-a-roo cheat is so damn good!! I've won 8k bcos of the cheat!!! But that's not the point, I must restrict myself as my English exam is drawing near, it's on this friday in fact. :(
Anyway, I am so happy cos' I am eligible for the criteria for HATs and I think I am going to apply for it cos' I fit the criteria quite well, well at least as a non-councillor. Actually I think Mrs. Giam is correct about communism under PE teachers. It's unbelievable that 5 mostly china PRC that cannot pronounce 'badminton' properly can control the whole school crowd of 1600++, whereas the 30 odd student councillors couldn't even control the population of the same size. It's like councillors are so
fei. Maybe I should persuade sua to be president of SU and ask him to scrape off the cheering sessions and change it into
Naruwan tribal ritual ceremonies instead. It's like we can all sing Naruwan or Zereglee during founder's day or sport's day or sth... Or else always cheer ar, thick face me will lose my nice voice some day. Disclaimer: I already say thick face so no comments on this.
Speaking of Mrs. Giam, she volunteered to help me for the teacher appraisal for the HATs award! So happy.. I mean even though I know my resume cannot be compared with people liek taiboon, sua yu, or even yong lin, but it is also worth a try. I mean computerised typing on application is a sign of neatness and legibility as well right? I want an award for god sake! I am despo! :O
And after school, when Jianyi and I went to staff room to hunt for teachers to appraise me, which they have to fit into the criteria of any teacher that taught me for 2yrs and like me quite a lot so the remaining candidate left standing had to be Mrs. Giam. Haha.. And after that, Jianyi made an appt. with Mr. Teo for MRP OD and Mr. Teo waved goodbye to me and he looked so friendly and charismatic!!! He's like more as a friend than a teacher - I mean, allowing pple from 2O to call him Edmund and being so friendly and lalala... So sad that he is leaving us for the people in Afghanistan that desperately need carl-tin bars... Sigh.. Sad... :'(
Oops! Gotta go to prepare for Oral D and complete english compre! My only exams left to conquer and get my goal of 1.1! :D

Another boring day for me.. Cos' I actually literally slacked for the whole day w/o doing anything. That means that I have to complete the english essay and the Oral Defence script by tmr! Stressed!!! :S
So, I spent the whole afternn playing Neopets, a stupid game that I stopped since P5. But for the weird reason of it, I actually enjoy playing it now and earn money! I just earned 30k from dice a roo and thks to Marcus's donation of 50k, woah I am rich! Finally! I am so bored...
Oh ya, also my relatives just came back from dinner at JB and took away
lobsters for my family and I to enjoy supper. So gtg and enjoy yummy delicacies! Yum! :D

Worst day of the week! Children's Day! Lame poll!
Firstly, Happy Children's Day! To all whose size is humble and minute with an awesome personality like yours truly, this is your day! Basically everyone wished me Happy Children's Day today - pple frm band, in class and when i was on the car - my mom. Eurgh.
Nevertheless, today is definitely NOT a happy day and the best lesson for the day is supposedly PE. Why? Someone englighten the blog readers pls, who will like double Sc, Maths and Ch on the same day, doing mock papers for every hour and a half?
Today really sucks. The science paper marking was boring - but I sort of enjoyed chemistry more than maths and chinese though. We did the stupid chem wksheet that gave evryone even Mr. Suresh an excuse to 'unexempt' me but what's done is done so I am still exempted!
PE was running and cardiovascular exercises again. Err.. the running part was quite ok cos' I really do need to exercise and destress and after changing in the track's room - I attempted the pull up thingy and did 2 actual pull ups! Yay! I think I can do more but I shan't show off that much yet. Shall try my best for Sec 3 NAPFA then! :P
Double Maths was crap. For once again, I really don't deserve my Maths exemption. It was like total disaster and I was stumped by most questions esp. the graphs and lines one and I always breeze through the linear n quadratic equations part. But we spent 1h 20mins doing 2 stupid boring papers! It's like Mr. LeeTK didn't even care if Kuang Li, Kun Won, Lerong, Hurwitz, Marcus, Kaijun and yufeng were sharing 2 tables and were chatting and doing the paper lor.. It was so darn boring. Luckily, for the intent of increasing self-esteem, I am exempted from taking the darn paper.
Double Chinese was worse, much much worse. YangWZ had to attend some function or sth, so he asked Jian yang to give out mock exams for us to do with compre. So very boring. The whole class just discussed answers for the first 3 sections and the next 3 sections were complete silence. The paper sucked. Very hard to do. Expected Yang to scold us like a mad dog, again. :(
Right after, I went with the usual company to KAP for lunch and 'mugging', which didn't really take place in the end. Instead, Jianyi and I played the dare game again and he smsed, "Am I cute?" to Marcus, Esmond and Ben Chow. I smsed, "Hey, I think that you are real cute." to Kuang Li, Bing Qian and Qian Xiang. And Sua Yu smsed, "You're hot ya know?" to Kun Won, Hurwitz and Sheng Wei. I know this is so darn lame but you know, we are deprived of enjoyment and exams are coming. We are now all cranky and lame. Too bad, that's life in CHS.
